“The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before.” Albert Einstein
Our goal is that our evening together will be filled with inspiration, encouragement and friendship…oh, and of course a little wine and chocolate...
Understanding that we are all very busy women and our time is precious, we work to provide an evening that is valuable for you as a leader and also as a woman. We hope to offer not only solid information that will help give you an edge in the workplace, but also be a safe place to share and inspire other women.
In a Fortune exclusive article in June 2015, they state “Who says nepotism is a bad thing? Family businesses have better-than-average numbers of women leaders—and everyone is benefiting.” Plus this type of business is most likely to promote women leaders both inside and outside of the company.
We’ll discuss how many women leaders are in your company? Are they members of the family or non-family members? The article references three key factors: 1) long-term thinking 2) role models and 3) environment. How do these factors play a role in your family business? We’ll also talk about the pros and cons of leading a family business including what successes and challenges you are facing today.
This Forum is for women in top leadership roles within their family business and not open to Associate Partners.
