"This morning's conference was great!  It was a wide range of participants on the panels and that was a great way to hear a wide view of options and ideas from the panelists!  Kevin Hancock gets my vote for most open, honest and helpful answers to questions. He was outstanding and his thoughts today were very heartfelt and honest.  Take away the layers of "facade" and discuss the truth of what it's like and how you face the issuers."

Women in Family Business -
Situational Awareness Safety Class

“I WAS TERRIFIED! HE TRIED TO THROW ME INTO THE TRUNK OF HIS CAR!”
Learn situational awareness to protect yourself, your family & prevent attacks!

Join the Institute for Family-Owned Business (IFOB)’s Women in Family Business for this important program. Michael Mercer  is a Crime Prevention expert and a retired police officer.  Hew will teach our members about civilian safety awareness by providing a civilian safety plan. Attendees will learn how to identify and avoid dangerous encounters, discourage attacker, use verbal commands for self-defense techniques, and escape an attacker. The program includes the class and 1 can of pepper spray a long with social networking time.

Over-stretched law enforcement budgets and troubling economic times typically result in an increase in violent crime.  Despite the increasing odds of crime against an individual, a majority of the public spend inadequate time, if any, on planning for a personal assault. Michael Mercer Consulting’s CSAP classes provide a critical personal safety plan. At the class, attendees learn how to:

  • Identify and avoid dangerous encounters
  • Discourage an attacker

Unfortunately, all dangerous encounters cannot be avoided, so CSAP also teaches how to:

  • Use verbal commands & simple self-defense techniques
  • Effectively and responsibly deploy SABRE Pepper Spray
  • Escape an attacker

SABRE pepper sprays have been “Making Grown Men Cry Since 1975” and are used by law enforcement agencies worldwide including most Federal, State, and Local police agencies
