Family Business History
Lafayette Hotels is a second-generation Maine family-owned business.
The hotel company was started by a husband and wife team, Danny and Carla. What began as one hotel has now grown into a portfolio of over 20 properties throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
Their passion for hospitality was passed on to each of their four children, all of whom work for the company. Daniel helps out in the corporate office with accounting, Ramsey is a GM in the Ogunquit Region. Their daughter, Annaliese, is a GM in Portland. Logan is a manager at the Bar Harbor properties in summer and assists in the corporate office during the off-season. Several other family members including aunts, uncles, and cousins are also involved in the business.
