Family Business Spotlight Series at the IFOB
The Institute for Family-Owned Business's (IFOB) goals are to be the:
…premier resource for family-run businesses in Maine,
…predominant source of outreach programs for family-owned businesses
…recognized expert in and networking resource for inimitable family-business issues.
With this in mind in 2015, we started a new program called the "Family Business Spotlight." We featured a family business that has had a long relationship with the Institute and has a deep commitment to supporting family-owned businesses in Maine. Each family was highlighted on our website, on Facebook, in emails, on Mainebiz, and on the radio with The Derek Volk Show. We continue this series for 2016 with two family businesses, Opus Consulting Group and Chalmers Insurance Group.

Spring 2016 - Opus Consulting Group - Portland
On Monday, April 11, 2016 we celebrated “April in Paris - Fall in Love with Family Businesses: Rejuvenation and Growth” featuring Opus Consulting Group, a business management and corporate strategy firm founded in 2009 by Jacques and Patricia Santucci in Portland. The couple moved to Maine from Paris, France in 1999 and came to see Maine as home, and realized that their approach to business management was in need. Opus Consulting Group has grown to a team of 7 associates and partners with companies in defining moments of their evolution. Through business acceleration, corporate renewal and exit strategy services, Opus has an excellent track record in helping clients and businesses achieve their goals.
